Our Aim

Our aim is to enhance the development and education of children below compulsory school age. We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment in which your child can develop social, intellectual, emotional and physical skills. The emphasis at Abbotsbrook Pre-School is of ‘Learning through Play’. While our children are playing they are learning too, through activities that match their capabilities, enthusiasm and own interests. Our aim is that the children will leave us with confidence and the skills needed to start their learning journey, as they move from us to “big school”.

Working within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, we offer a balance of activities to cover all six areas of learning, developing skills already acquired and encouraging new ones. Funded places are available for 3 and 4 year olds from the term after the child’s third birthday. We work closely with the Buckinghamshire Early years services, as well as other local professionals and agencies, enabling us to cater for and meet the needs of all children and of all abilities.
